For the world of tech lovers Sunday 7.07.2019 , was a very important date. That day the embargo for the new generation of Ryzen procesors lifted and also marked the rebirth of the graphics cards made by Radeon Group , previously named ATI. This hyped day didn't prove to be a disappointment. Once the benchmarks went online, the whole world could see what AMD can do when they really think a project through : a family of processors which not only amaze with their price to performance ratio but with their competitiveness. A proof of this fact was the reaction from Intel , who dropped the current's lineup prices for the first time in over a decade , since the times of the Phenom. In the center of this media storm starred two processors that shook the community: Ryzen 5 3600 and his bigger brother the 3900X. First things first: the 3600 is the mid range 6 cores 12 threads CPU which is a force to reckon with. Scoring a respectable 1550 points in Cinebench R15 it outscedes any procesor in the same price range. Alongside with the IPC improvements brought by the 7 nm node reduction, the single thread performance puts up a fight. Competing with the i5 8400 , that bought second hand still lacks the additional 6 threads for the same money , it is clear that AMD managed to improve the manufacturing process. Ryzen 5 3600 is currently the best procesor for an average build, being compatible even with some B350 motherboards, although if you want to take advantage of the new pcie gen 4 you will have to pay a premium of more than 300$ for a X570, to get a decent one. At the end of the day it is a must buy if you are upgrading from a first gen ryzen or a 7th gen Intel CPU or lower. Next up: the new king. Ryzen 9 3900X batheled the industry when it was announced. With a oaping 12 cores and 24 threads, this a beast. And it all manages to be squeezed in a 105W TDP when is boosting. In addition the new technology called Precision boost 2 from AMD is much improved and it allows this procesor to hit 4.2 ghz on all cores. Coming back to Cinebench, we are greeted with the biggest score ever registered on a main stream platform of almost 3200, and with a stable overclock can reach a more than ok 3400 a score that marks a long-awaited defeat over the famous i9 9900k. A lot of enthusiasts were in awe when it turned out that even in most of the games the new ryzen 9 was outperforming the blue team , as well as in productivity based workloads. Despite all odds the new chip beated the competition in CS:GO a well knowed Intel favoring title. Anyway after a large number of tests it was concluded that the I9 is still the king in gaming, allthow if you are going to do anything with your CPU more than that then the AMD offer is the one to get. Fun fact: a couple of days ago a team of enthusiasts managed to use a ryzen 9 3900X in a B350 motherboard (1st gen). Yeah! A motherboard from the first generation of Ryzen chips. The official statement says that Ryzen 9 should be supported only by x570. Curios right? Back to the other CPU launches: R3 3200G and R5 3400G are the improved version of the earlier generation, still on the 12nm node and the Vega 8 and Vega 11 graphics are a bit improved as well. Ryzen 7 3700X is considered a replacement for the i9 9900k for a 350$ price , 150$ less than the flagship 8c 16t chip from Intel. Ryzen 5 3600X and Ryzen 7 3800X are just the pre-overclocked versions of the non X CPUs but they are more expensive and have just a bit more OC potential. In conclusion it is safe to say that the launch of the next generation of Ryzen processors was a success, but it looks like the story doesn't end here. In an interview from Gamer's Nexus a AMD representative claimed that " we started with AM4 from 4 cores and now we managed to quadruple that number" - statement that confirms the

ryzen 9 3950x , a leaked CPU set to launch this autumn, is real. Bottomline, I will end like this : the future wasn't as bright for tech and we hope that we from Tech OS will be here to bring you the latest news in this field. As usual " from the pasioned to the pasioned" , Matthew here from Tech OS. Have a great day.
